1. Who handles your information
Gert Toerien is the sole proprietor trading as IME (Internet Marketing Experts), and is the responsible party for enquiries handled by the agency. The business address is 22 Chamberlain Street, Nigel, South Africa. Gert Toerien is the Information Officer and can be contacted at gerttoerien@gmail.com or +27 82 319 0573.
2. What the website collects
The quote form collects your name, business name, email address, selected service and project details. The general contact form collects your name, email address, message and optional phone number. The site also records an enquiry reference, submission time and quote delivery status.
Hosting and security services may process technical information such as your IP address, browser, request logs and sign-in details. Only information needed for the enquiry should be included; do not submit identity documents, payment-card details or sensitive personal information in these forms.
3. Why it is used
Enquiry information is used to answer your request, prepare a relevant quote, communicate about a potential project and maintain a record of that conversation. Technical information supports security and reliable operation. The relevant grounds include responding to your requested pre-contract steps, legitimate business and security interests, and applicable legal duties.
Required fields are needed to process the form; you can contact the agency by phone instead. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing list. This website does not make automated decisions about you.
4. Storage and service providers
When the current online form is enabled, enquiry details are sent directly from your browser to Web3Forms, which forwards them to gerttoerien@gmail.com. Web3Forms may retain submitted information under its service settings and privacy policy. Visitors do not need to sign in or verify their email. Earlier quote and contact records remain in the site’s Cloudflare D1 database and are available only in the owner’s private enquiry inbox. Email links prepare a draft; you choose Gmail or your email app and click Send. Earlier submissions used FormSubmit, and copies may remain with that provider under its retention policy.
OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare support hosting and access control. Web3Forms handles configured form email notifications, and Google handles the agency’s Gmail mailbox and optional Gmail drafts. FormSubmit was used for earlier quote submissions. These providers may process information outside South Africa. Their processing locations, applicable agreements and international-transfer safeguards must be confirmed by the agency before public launch.
Provider information: Web3Forms privacy policy, FormSubmit privacy information, Cloudflare privacy policy and Google privacy policy.
5. Retention and security
Enquiries are stored for agency review and displayed only in the owner’s private inbox. This preview does not automatically delete enquiry records after a fixed period. The agency must confirm a retention schedule covering site storage, email and any project records before public launch, taking account of the purpose and applicable legal duties.
The site uses HTTPS, server-side input checks and restricted access. The enquiry inbox is limited to the signed-in site owner. These measures reduce risk; no online service can promise absolute security.
6. Browser storage and videos
If a quote submission fails or is interrupted, an unfinished quote may be saved temporarily in your browser to help restore it. It is cleared on a successful submission or when read back; drafts older than 30 minutes are discarded on the next visit. You can clear it through your browser’s site-data settings.
Videos are hosted with the site rather than embedded from a social platform. The site does not install advertising pixels or analytics trackers. See the cookie notice for more information.
7. Your choices and rights
You may request confirmation of information held about you, access to it, correction of inaccurate details or deletion where retention is no longer lawful. You may also object to processing where applicable. Contact the agency with your enquiry reference; reasonable identity checks may be needed to protect your information.
You can raise a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa. Information-access procedures are described in the draft PAIA manual.
8. Updates
This notice should be reviewed when the site’s forms, providers, tracking features or business details change. The date above identifies the current version.
